Skill Saathi
NSDC under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has initiated a Mega Counselling campaign by the name of “Skill Saathi’ with the view to counsel students of schools, colleges and dropout candidates about the Skill Eco System to make them aware of career pathways based on their aspirations and interest profiles.
This is part of the larger Skill India Mission which was launched by Government of India, in 2015 to empower the youth of the country with skill sets which make them more employable and more productive in their work environment. Skill Saathi has been designed such that it includes a psychometric assessment of the candidates. As part of the session, students will be oriented towards the various avenues that are available along with success stories shared from the skilling fraternity.

NSDC has rolled out this program through Non-Government Counselling Implementing Organizations (CIOs) wherein CIOs have been nominated as a Counselling Implementing Organizations (CIOs) for conducting Counselling Sessions. However, in order to benefit maximum number of students, NSDC would like to further create touch apart from Non-Government institutions like schools and colleges, etc. To help conduct Counselling Sessions by joining hands with the Non-Government Counselling Implementing Organizations. Jaganraj has worked in Skill Saathi program and worked for 10 states and approx 1 lac candidates has been counselled.
